Not to be a snob but you do realize that this is a fantasy game with magic and not Mass Effect, right? "Magic is just science we don't understand yet." That said, don't try to understand Mundus magic or you'll eat yourself alive with frustration. There is a lot of things that "magic" does in the Elder Scrolls that is not explained by *modern day* science. I mean... a water breathing spell? Come on, don't act like this is a carbon copy of real life.

I know, but going to the Moon(s)!? That's just ludicrous! My mind cannot handle on how many levels of silly that is!

This thought just popped into me head:

Nirn has two moons: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Masser and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Secunda. Wouldn't be awsome if Bethesda releases a DLC which storyline takes place upon a small part of one of these moons?

What's your opinion about this topic? :)

Um, this is fantasy not sci-fi.

I'll admit, it seems a little weird to me too. However, like I said before, it's not unlike taking a leisurely stroll through Hell, otherwise known as Oblivion. Again, by rights, a mere Nirn mortal should not even be able to breathe there without burning their insides out into molten lava.

No, I'm still getting over the fact that an Elder Scrolls DLC might take place on a moon... Why? What would be there? What could possibly be so interesting about an empty terrain with some moon rocks laying about?

Yes, seems like it would be some great fun. xD

Could start with a mage teleporting you there or something.

Lore and realism can svck it for this one!

You are aware that the moons are the dead body of Lorkhan? So if you went there, it would probably look a bit like Tamriel, but deader than the Ashlands (if you remember Morrowind), and probably with toxic air.

@ ViewedCloth:

I meant to say: the Daedra could transport us there ;)

Edit: they can even make the Moon(s) habitable :)

It certainly wouldn't be like this. One of the moons could be a really old, ancient, spaceship. It could be the point of origin of the gods. Who aren't gods in reality but extremely advanced technological beings.

Or something.

Why!? Why would Daedra transport us there!?

Daedra: "Hey random adventurer, wanna go to the moon(s)?" I don't think so.

I think it's sweet you want that mate, but, nah. With all the other provinces and landmass' to visit, why would you want to go to one of the moons? And, besides, it would kill the lore. Besides, all this does is remind me one of the many reasons I dislike America. The whole moon thing was fake to me.

@ Cimex:

TES is a fantasy game, so no Science Fiction elements should be added :)

Have you heard of Wizardry? Warcraft?

Anyway, many stories have combined sci fi with fantasy and it is something that I enjoy.

I have three pages on the UESP, one of Masser (moon) another on Secunda (2nd moon) and the last one is on Daedra and none tell me that Daedra can make the moon(s) inhabitable.

I don't think they can modify the plane of an Aedra, even when he's dead.
