Character Physically changing While playing the game?

Post » Sat Oct 01, 2011 10:10 pm

this is offical statment:

The New Character Creation: The visual character creation system in Skyrim has been given a major upgrade, allowing players to craft a hero with more distinct features, including a Chuck Norris-level beard. Face paint, scars, tattoos and more will also be on the table, allowing players to create their own unique character to take on Alduin and his minions. And don't worry about getting stuck in a particular class -- set classes have been thrown out the window in Skyrim, allowing players to develop a character based on the way they play the game. Use a ton of magic and you'll become a skillful mage; stick to sword and shield and your warrior muscles will be bulging by level 15.

is it like fable where you will grow muscles when you become stronger? what do you guys think?

I guess it was just a way of saying that you will be strong.

Its realistic

But does that mean I'd have to sleep for several in-game months for my bulging muscles to calm down?

I doubt it's true and it would be bad if it was.

It's not realistic for me to have buldging muscles within 4 days of swinging a sword.

And Pete already confirmed multiple times that your character won't physically change throughout the game. I think the description was just a play on words. Nothing more.

Interpreting that line as indicating a physical change is almost certainly taking it out of context. What they probably mean is that your warrior-based skills will improve as you use them and do more damage (no attributes of course). Which has been known for some time.

While physical changes over time would be nice, I don't think they're in. I think that quote was intended to express that you'd be strong, nothing more.

Oh dear someone took a fancy description out of context. Journalists love to use big words and 'clever' cliches to show off their plethora of knowledge lol. :shifty:

That wouldn't fit in a game that's all skill-based anyways. A rogue with a dagger and a barbarian dual-wielding axes would end up looking the same when they master their weapon skill.
