Skyrim and no in-game music...

Post » Sun Oct 02, 2011 7:54 am

Sooo... This is my first thread, and I want to ask you people a rilevant question. What will you listen while playing Skyrim? Don't get me wrong, I love TES Soundtrack but... sometimes I feel like I need a little change, a different pace, you know the thrill... I don't mean I put in my music folder something like Hard Rock or Pop tracks, or even Power or Epic metal... For example, in Oblivion, I used a lot of songs by Of the Wand and the Moon, goodness made folk, and, for the Battle, some tracks by Ensiferum, who fit realy well to the game battles... And I want to know if you use something like that, or if it breaks things a little too much for you... Also, I would enjoy some advice about good folk music, both instrumental and vocal... (in fact, I love choruses)... So... Here :foodndrink:

I won't listen to any music, including the in-game soundtrack.

Its not classical or anything, but My Chemical Romances older stuff was quite dark and had a lot of references to vampires haha, I was playing an Assasin/vampire at the time. It was cool :D

When not listening to the default soundtrack I turn off the music all together, it makes it seem more real instead of being like there's a full orchestra following you everywhere :P

Lol your first thread just got owned by Jeremy Soule.

If Im playing an RPG its either ingame music or none at all :P, but if Im PvPing or grinding in say... WoW, its usually techno-y faster beat stuff like Depeche Mode or Mother Mother. Ive never really been into actual techno though.

Shooters its Metallica all the way.
