Skyrim DLC Exclusive to Xbox 360 Unfair?

It's fair, I mean in the end we'll always have those lovely, free, PC-Exclusive mods.

I don't think 30 days, especially when its the DLC and not a full game, isn't that bad. Admittedly, I will be playing it on the Xbox 360 :icecream:

so does it mean with 30 days of testing by the xbox users mean a non buggy release for the ps3 users? i didn't think it was as simple as that.

Yeah. Yeah that's been my observation this generation, and the reason I went from a PS2 to a 360. Sony didn't even put out a SINGLE exclusive game I wanted to play for the first 2 years.

Sony had the whole world on its plate last generation and chucked it down the garbage for a blue-ray player . . . .

Think of it this way: we get to test it for you, so yours isn't filled with bugs :D.

That's actually probably very true! So - benefit PS3 and PC gamers - we get patched DLC!

EDIT:
I don't know do they? I thought they we're the stunning graphics people...

Only on Sony exclusives . . . games like Red Dead Redemption, Ghostbusters, etc. are all worse graphically, using upscaled 720p instead of 1080p like the 360 for some reason. (Porting games to the cell processor is supposedly insanely difficult and frustrating, so a lot of developers do it poorly. The cell processor really shines though when the PS3 is the lead development platform.)

Not a huge deal for me. Sure, Xbox360 players get it first. Not only does Microsoft pay for this right, which will most likely go towards development of other games, but probably will go to development of future DLCs for Skyrim as well. I don't mind waiting. And I'll go ahead and just skip the topics that pop up on the forums about the DLC. Hopefully people don't post spoilers without a warning, or I'll bet they'll be quite unpopular with the PS3/PC crowds. Then we can all chase 'em off the forums. Mob mentality, mob mentality my man. ;) Anyhow, I'm sure that PS3 folk can find something else to do in the meantime (like play other games...I know I will be if it takes too long for a PC mod to come out...in fact got a few PS3 games on pre-order being release this month and next and in December too), and PC people can just amuse themselves with the myriad of mods that will most likely be released in the interim.

Oh yeah, and what others have said. Bug testing on Xbox360. :)

It's not unfair, it's just business.

As a Xbox and PC gamer i think its fair, PC gamers get 1000s of mods in which will contain 10x more detail, content and most probebly better content and to the PS3 owners, you guys chose to purchase the more expensive Xbox clone and you should have known what Microsoft is like and that Sony just isnt really willing to spend much on this type of stuff, So Yeah dont cry PS3 gamers you sort of brought it on your selves.
I am now getting my flame retardant suit on now :obliviongate: :flamethrower:

It is unfair to release content earlier for some players just because they were paid by Microsoft, but if it means that Bethesda have more money to make the game better, then I don't mind.

didn't happen like that with fallout 3's DLC for ps3 though.
360 users got them first as well and when us ps3 users finally got them us well they were just as, if not more buggy than the 360 version.
i hope for their sake that they learned their lesson when it comes to bug testing/fixing
