here we go :
Spoiler
ok, after the minor civil war between the two rivaling factions, the rift-guards and the imperial guardsmen,
the player is approached by suspicious looking character who congratulates the player on dealing with the corrupt guard,
tho he adds he thought killing him was a bit over the top. the man offers the player some work.
he has some ongoing situation with a particular vendor in the town,
and he wants find a way to successfully incriminate the vendor. the method he comes up with, is hiring you to steal a ring from a wealthy citizen he points out to the player, and THEN place it inside the vendors private chest.
when the player accepts the task, the man says he will create a distraction to make sure you will succeed .
the man begins to shout to all the people in the town square that they need to come over and listen to what he has to say.
when they have gathered round ( must mean that they will all physically move to a new spot,
but that is not the most interesting part tho, the article says verbatim "my new friend shouts to all the SHOPPERS and the VENDORS.
this is a VERY strong indication that not only do npcs have a daily mobile routine, we already knew that,
now shopping is an active part of that routine, plus, shopping is also done OUTSIDE,
which alludes to vendors with unique animations inhabiting the town squares.might be conjecture.might not, )
When the player have been aware of who his mark is, the player tries to pickpocket the man,
who is sitting on a crate( again something really cool, the man was not sitting there before,
but moved to the crate and sat down. looks like we will see a lot more unique npc animations in skyrim.
think about the children RUNNING in riverwood, and the man walking up the porch and then he leans on the wall)
later when the player finally locate the thieves guild underground headquarters/tavern.
they are not very welcoming because the player failed to carry of the initial task of stealing the ring.
also you can not just enter the hq, you have to brave through a downright complex set of narrow paths.
oh and i forget.when the player tries to enter the sewers/ratways to get to the guild,
he is mugged by a band of thieves close to the entrance, that demands he gives them all his money.
the player refuses. but he has a choice.and choice seem to be the operative keyword of this game.
not only in official news but also when listening to all the numerous unoffical sources.and i love that [censored] hehe
