Editing Midas Magic

Hello,

I'm a complete modding newbie with experience in C, but not TESscript. I'm trying to edit the Midas Magic mod to effect the following changes:

a: summoned balrog is loyal to summoner and companions
b: summoner is silenced for the duration of balrog's existence
c: Dispel Midas Summons works on Balrog

I'm thinking that the easiest way to do that would be to just copy the balrog reference into the general summon script that the author uses for all of the other summons. However, I have no idea how to silence the summoner; I looked through the TESCS wiki and saw no script for getting or setting the user's magicka value. Could someone help me out with that?

Edit: In addition, I get a bunch of warnings when opening the mod in the construction set. Is there anything I need to do about them? Here are some examples:

Pathgrid for cell Wilderness (-33, 13) in world Tamriel contains 277 inter-grid connections.

Errors were encountered during InitItem for reference:

Base: 'MidasOblivionPlatform' (0103D165)
Ref: 'MidasOblivionPlatformRef (0103D166)
Cell: 'BRMidasOblivionPlane' (0103BAA)


Ref (0106C7D8) to base object MidasWraithKing (0106C7D6) in cell BrMidasCryptCastle01 (0, 0) (0106C719) should be persistent or not.

And many more like the one above.
