First Morrowind Character

Hey guys

Just picked up Morrowind again after throwing it out because I couldn't get into it. Reinstalling it, and will be playing it soon. I've got Oblivion and love it, so i thought i'd retry Morrowind before Skyrim, however i've seen a lot of differences (including Fast Travel not exsisting which makes me a lil scared)

I've read the Starting out page on the wiki, however I would like to know what is the easiest type of character to play for a new beginner at morrowind. Usually I play a sneaky, thief character with a bow in Oblivion, but i have a feeling playing a hack and slash warrior would be easier in Morrowind.

Can you guys give me any thoughts on what type of character to use first, and any newbie tips ^.^

Thanks

Well I'm not saying it is any easier, but my first character was an Orc Warrior, and it was a very successful playthrough since back then I was not use to rpg's. Now I prefer a mix of stealth and magic, but a heavy-type is still fun to play occasionally.

Stealth characters are generally harder to play in Morrowind. My first successful character was a Crusader. They mainly have combat skills with Destruction and Restoration (I think) added, which keeps them interesting.
