Hunt Down The Dark Brotherhood

Post » Mon Oct 03, 2011 12:17 am

Ok, so before I start please excuse my grammar. (SPOILER) Ok remember how in Morrowind you killed members of the Dark Brotherhood? Yea, in Skyrim they should give you a quest to hunt them down if your not into being stealthy, light armor, or murdering innocent civilians =). Of course you can ignore this quest and continue playing the game and eventually joining the Dark Brotherhood. I always thought it would be cool to kill the most important members of the Dark Brotherhood and eventually killing them all =). But of course there are going to be consequences, like maybe the occasional assassin.
But anyway thanks for reading the post =).

I sometimes decided to just straight up kill Lucien as he appeared to start the Dark Brotherhood questline. So I would say yes to this

I love the idea of the DB having Good Guys as opposition. I'd join that guild/faction.

I could see a small possibility for a few side quests or most likely just one if there would be one if you side with The Legion (Assuming they will have somewhat the same principles as OB) But personally would be quite surprised to see a quest through any other way.

I suppose it might be the equivalent of joining the Imperial Watch in OB, except actually making it a joinable faction. Sounds like something I might do on one of my characters.

I would like this as an option in a game that's all about options.

Interesting idea, i could see this applying to quite a few factions. Any number of npcs could have a grudge against the companions, mages, db, theives (or any other faction).

I am confused by "What if we don't like him?" Do you mean them? The DB is made up by many not one. Unless you mean Sithis himself?

edit: this is not an attempt to "poke fun" of grammar. I am curious if you thought about going after Sithis himself? Is that even possible?

What makes you think that you'll see members in the outside world? The only one you saw out and about in Blivvy was Telandrile. (probably not how you spell her name).

Sound great i think there should be an option to wipe the dark brotherhood (maybe to travel to sithis world and turn him into a mudcrub (iv'e seen a mudcrub the other day as big as a house...)).

in the dark brotherhood, no one you are assigned to kill is "innocent".
