The Great House Sotha and the Dreughs

I had this idea when I was shaking other ideas in my mind to make them fit together and constitute an expansion suggestion, which ended http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1229479-expansions-and-dlcs-suggestions/ (and which also could make a nice mod, imo, btw).

The idea is the following.

Sotha Sil was believed to be the last survivor of the Great House Sotha, which disappeared after the destruction of the first Ald Sotha.
Sotha Sil lived for a while in the Castles of glass and Coral built by the Dreughs.

Could it be possible that Sotha Sil wasn't the only survivor of the Great House Sotha, and that some remnants of this extinct House would have survived offshore, underwater, as (forced?) hosts of the Dreughs?

If this is the case, would they have been affected by the change that turned the Chimers into Dunmers? And would they know anything about the events that happened on Tamriel? Would they still worship Almsivi? Would their bloodlines have encountered the ones of the Dreughs and produce underwater Mers? How would their insulation affect their culture?

Well, undoubtfully, this would raise fascinating questions. But the main, basic one is: is it totally lore-unfriendly frenzy imagination, or could this be lore-friendly?
