Well i think you should be able to join the DB and then once you do it lets you do the linear quest line but every once in a while when you sleep you wake up to a DB person who will give you a random target to kill

i will be joining the Dark Brotherhood if they will allow me to.
i served in oblivion and enjoyed it.
and i also served Morag Tong in morrowind.
will do all i can do serve Dark Brotherhood in skyrim.

i hope the who dunit 2.0 isnt a trick..... freaking the first one you could one hit ANY guest and it was impossible for them witness any kill, even it they were standing right there
