Cassidy/Cass Impossibility

So, as many of you may know, Cass (Fallout: New Vegas) is Cassidy's (Fallout 2) daughter, but what you and I didn't even notice was the HUUUGE time gap between Fallout 2 and New Vegas and the large role it plays in this question.

The question? How did Cass have a child?

Now, most of you have a fast quick answer; he had... private time... with his wife, and gave birth.

First, let me tell you things about Cassidy and Cass...

Cassidy:
Was around 60 years old when he travelled with the Chosen One. (2241)
Had a daughter named Cass.

Cass:
20-25 when travelling with the Courier. (2281)
Daughter of Cassidy
Mother was a tribal

So me and a friend of mine were discussing game history when it occured to me that Cassidy, who had a daughter, could not have POSSIBLY concieved Cass. If Cass is 20-25, this would place her birthdate around 2257-2263.

Seeing that Cassidy was more or less 60 in 2241, in 2261 Cassidy would be 80 years old. EIGHTY... That's well above and beyond the age where his seed will actually be viable to give offspring.

Buuuut he could have had her in 2241! No, because that'd make Cass 40-45 by the events of New Vegas, which would make her one very, very, very hot milf.

So my question to you is... How the hell could Cassidy have had a daughter that was actually his?

John might have just looked like an old man. He saw alot of action in his life and it left him, with a missing eye and many scars. A case of "Aged before his time."

His Daughter could be close to 30 for all we know. So this still makes John an old man when she was born but not as old as he looks. It can happen, old men can still have kids. I have a friend that is 18 and her dad is 78.

Plus John Cassidy is just that awesome :tops:

I've never noticed this before Boradam. Good catch though I'm not sure I have an answer for you. I don't suppose there's any way save actual intercourse, to produce a child in post-war USA.

To add to my story about my 18 year old friend with a 78 year old dad.

Men don't stop producing healthy sperm. We just keep going and going till we die.

Don't believe me, a simple google search can prove it.

Edit: He could have been 90 and still be able to make babies.

Cass is 37 in 2281.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Cass may act like a frat-boy who just discovered the magic of Jack Daniels, but she's actually [censored] ancient.

Well I believe the canon Courier for Vegas is in his late 30's early 40's and you can make him look young so anything can happen
