Can we perform finishing moves on non hostile creatures?

I'd love to do some crazy knee to the throat move on a chicken.

In the demo we see a finishing move on Arvel the swift, who doesn't seem to be hostile.

More than likely. Depends on the enemy though, I'm sure you can't kick a chicken in it's throat. I'm sure BGS has implemented someway to bring out your sadistic side on chickens and other helpless animals though, no worries.

And Arvel deserved what he got. Todd fights off a massive freakin spider, frees him from a web, and he runs off. Stupid Dunmer.

That eventually gets annoying. Like the epic battle music that gets triggered when you encounter a simple mudcrab in Oblivion, or the redundant cinematic sequences when stomping a bug in Fallout.

I heard that there is a finisher exclusive to argonians in which they bite off the heads of small creatures and swallow them whole, like the disgusting vermin that they are.
