Do ghouls smell?

A simple question, if a ghoul's outer layers are partially necrotised then surely they must smell really bad, and for that matter be rife with disease, if that's the case how do people put up with the poor bastards and if not why not.

Apparently they do, and pretty bad. I'm almost positive that I've heard ghouls in Underworld say "Pardon the Smell".

So how do people put up with them? Well, a lot of times they don't. I tend to think that's because all ghouls eventually go feral though, rather than the stench.

Not only that but your average wastelander probably smells pretty horrid to. So they don't have much room to talk.

I would hazard a guess that dead and dying flesh would have a rather pungent smell to it.

That's the reason I put Raul in a advanced radiation suit, keep that stench locked up on the inside.
