Just curious to see what race everyone is

Not really, I like a stealthy character thats why.

I still haven't decided, i'm going back and forth between a Orc, a Nord, a Bosmer and a Imperial for my first warrior play through and a Breton, a Altmer and a Argonian for my first mage play through.

Dunmer, just to see the reaction of the nords. I did the same in Morrowind, I was a female Nord and the houses were just freaking out....lol

I'm going to be playing a Redguard, I was never really fussed with them until I saw the how they look in Skyrim, so awesome!

Seriously though, because my first character will be a viking warrior, sometging i always wanted to do (haven't ever even done that yet). Plus it's in Skyrim, home of the Nords. Good RPing. Also, i want to use restoration for my warrior, and Nords specialize in the magic a bit.

Orc, they're obviously the superior race here.

Plus Orcs fit my idea for my first character the best. A Barbarizard.

Still deciding ... honestly there are too many choices.

For my first time through, I'll probably go with a straight warrior who becomes a battlemage over time kind of character, and I'll probably be a human race, just not sure which yet -- either Imperial or Nord, right now I'm leaning towards Nord because I think the prison you're released from is an Imperial one ... so there's the racial backstory there in the back of my mind -- the idea that he was wrongly imprisoned just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the wrong race. If I go Nord, he'll definitely be Conan-esce, very buff, a hulk of a man. If I go Imperial, he'll be muscular, but not a beefcake.

It's the second time through, where I'll be a Pure Mage and end up adding speech, alchemy, and some other skills I didn't get the first time through. This one, I will probably be an Orc, mostly because I always liked the idea of this female Orc Witch ... she'll also be totally evil and go on regular murderous rampages.

My third class is character to be a total Dunmer "Drizzt Do'Urden" ripoff ... a dark elf ranger, good with bows, one handed dual-wielding, and general thievery skills.

If I can actually make it through the game three times ... I'll be perfectly satisfied with the game.

Then go for a Bosmer, or Dunmer? Those who aren't reptiles?


Yup. Traditionally, I've been a Bosmer, for their skill-set fits my play-style. But since I'm over half Norwegian, and more Swedish, German, and Scottish, I'll be a Nord first in the glorious land of Skyrim.

Top two favorite races:
Bosmer and Nord.

Third? Dunmer. They are the epitome of bad@$$ery.

argonian because i have a tendancy to explore very hazardous areas usually with deep water that would drown anyone who isnt an argonian or the proud owner of a water breathing enchanted amulet
