problem with NCR **NEED HELP** : Fallout: New Vegas

After finding Benny and he flees the strip you talk to a Legion guy, after talking to him i left the strip and i was hated by the NCR and i was given a quest for something (i didn't read it at that time). Anyway after i was told i have 3 days to earn back the trust or the NCR and that quest failed, cause i killed some NCR the tried attacking me. How can i get their trust back????
