Is there a way to not let Cachino or Big Sal and Nero contro

Post » Wed Oct 05, 2011 7:37 am

Okay so, Cachino is an all-out Dee-Bag
And I dont want Big Sal and Nero taking over the strip.

Is there any way to complete "How little we know" where neither take over the Gomorrah?

Ah, I just did that quest 5 minutes ago.

No, I don't think there is a way. You'd have to massacre them all. I figure that the casino needs at least one Omerta to run it successfully.

Kill them all. The Omertas are a bunch of scumbags.

My advice? Think like the Enclave and use the Omertas for weapons testing. They are filthy pigs who plan on taking over the Strip. (except for Cachino)

It's very satisfying to kill the Omertas, and it really feels like you're doing the world a favor. (which you are) You also gain Strip fame for foiling the Omertas plot, and you lose reputation if you allow Big Sal or Nero to stay in power, so it is best to just kill all of them. :gun:

Sorry for the double post :brokencomputer:

I'll just add that if you don't want to kill off the Omertas, Cachino isn't as bad as you may think. He is actually pretty reasonable once he comes to power.

Yeah, Cachino's apparent attitude problem is really a front to keep Big Sal and Nero from realizing what he's up to behind their backs. If you talk to him after the quest (which you'll be doing if you want the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion), you discover that he's actually a straight operator who was in a tight spot and had his hand (and thus behavior) forced in order to survive. Not that he says so directly, but it can readily be inferred if you went through earlier dialogue options and then carefully read his end responses.

It's also possible for Cachino to die in the shoot out, but I don't know if this is noted by the game.

I always liked Cachino, but I could see how someone might think he is a [censored] at first. He does come off that way when you first talk to him, although that changes. Once I learned more about him, I actually felt sorry for him and helped him overthrow Big Sal and Nero. And tbh, I would take him over anyone in the white glove society any day.
