Oh No! OH NO!

Sorry man but with the state of the worlds economy the rebels will be more relatable.

Why are you choosing sides in Skyrim based off of events IRL?

wait wait wait.

If we capture Solitude, we're taking out the Imperials, not the Stormcloaks.
And if we take out Windhelm, we're fighting the Stormcloaks.
You have it backwards, so I can't very well vote in good conscious.

Edit:
Praise Talos and his Champion Ulfric Stormcloak!
Empire be darned!

I don't know, these current Imperials seem to not represent the ideals of the old Septim Empire, especially if they ban Talos! However, I do not support nationalistic rebels either.

Only a true dragonborn should be the ruler of the Empire, so maybe I will be on my own side and forge my own Empire.

My Nord, Norcross holds the power to crush an empire with his own hands. He will lead the rebels, but only for the purpose of peace in Skyrim.

They both sound like jerks. Let the n'wahs tear each others' throats out. I'm just here for myself.

I am a Nord, but my guy was raised by Imperials, as he grew up he did not question this, and was raised as an Imperial, even being a Nord.

You see, his mother was a speaker of the voice, they told the story of the Elder Scrolls, and what was to come... no one beilieved them and hunted them down, his mother sent him away after he was born, on the basket it read Ulfgar. Ulfgar was to be his name, but he was to be raised by others, learning to live and love the Empire. He adapted to the Empires ways and eventually he wanted to be a solider. His new mother would not allow him, as the world was too dangerous.

The war between the Storm Cloaks rose up, living on the edge of Skyrim, near Bruma, his home was caught in the war. His house was burnt down and his parents slaughtered because they were Imperials. Ulfgar was out mining in a local cave, preparing ore for his father, Bruma's town smith. He was taking his break when the battle erupted, he saw the Imperials march past him, eyes set towards Bruma. Then out behind the walls of Bruma he saw another army march. One of the Imperial Captains yelled, "Archers! At The READY!", 100 bows rose to the air. Then another voice boomed over the crowded voices.

"Warriors, Prepare yourselves", the voice shouted. Then the old voice kicks in again, "Fire!". A 100 arrows flew at the oncoming enemy. A few seconds later another voice yelled, "Charge!". A 1000 warriors raced down the mountain towards Bruma. Then flames caught the sky, from nowhere fire erupted all over. In the distance 50 mages danced the dance of magic, erupting this Dormant Volcano. Ulfgar noticed as lava poured over his house, and as if having magical hearing he could hear the screams as his family burnt alive.

Fear reigned over Ulfgar and he ran for the border of Skyrim, not sure of where he was headed he crossed the moutains and entered into a land unknown. Behind him there was a giant flash and a large rush of wind flew his way, stopping only inches from him. He turned to see what the flash had been, only to see that everything was back to normal, no Imperials, no Rebels, but there was also no house.

Ulfgar could see that his house was still in ruins, even from a mile away. He wanted to head back but then a Rebel scouting party found him, and before he had a chance to defend himself he was knocked out. Everyone in the Battle of Bruma was gone, or it was as if they where never there. No one ever spoke of the battle, as if it never happened. Bruma stood intact, but his home and his family did not. Ulfgar had been captured.

Ulfgar thought his life was over... only to later find it was only begging.

I may be lizard but I was once a imperial and I still stand by its flag. FOR THE NINE!!!

Well, since worship of a certain divine is now forbidden, wouldn't that be "FOR THE EIGHT!!!"

Also, Rebels all the way. I've wanted an excuse to gut an Imperial since Morrowind.
