Terrain question

Does anyone know if they fixed the terrain from oblivion? I hate how everything is up an almost unscalable mountain/hillside it made fast travel almost necessary if you didn't want to hop around for half an hr like an idiot to get anywhere

It'll be even more mountainous. So prepare yourself.

What do you mean "fixed"? The broken part earlier was that you could get on mountains through endless jumping - engine limitation of sorts that were "fixed" in FONV using invisible barriers. Not a very popular fix for obvious reasons, so I rather hope we slip and fall off and hurt ourselves for trying, compared to success by idiotic jumping.

What they did on FNV wasn't a 'fix', if anything they broke it even more.

I tried to jump over a clearly small rock to get to a road. It was 100% visible that I could pull the jump, if not over-jump the rock. Then the moment my feet hover over the rock I stop mid flight; a rock on a seemingly innocent place had a invisible barrier. :sadvaultboy:

Learn to fly?
You of course realize that's how the terrain is meant to be?, climbing shear faces should only be attempted by experienced climbers B)

I ment how everything that wasn't a main road was an unbelievable angle that made cutting through the wilderness ridiculous mountains I understand but everywhere

I'll be livid if there are any invisible barriers in Skyrim, aside from those defining the game's borders.

If Navigation is too much of a bastard, it will be detrimental to my gaming.
