The water in the three part demo looks amazing.

Tesslation is a wonderful thing. I'm actually surprised they were able to push out any form of improved tesslation even if only minor on the console systems. It makes me happy to see enginuity in game design like this even if for only aesthetic appeal. One of the bonuses among the detractors to games designed around consoles. :foodndrink:

Even better than http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbK_4idhqUo water.
I've never been so excited to see water like that and hear it lap on the side of boats. :lmao:

HA! Yup. Everything's better than Crysis.

@missjocelynne: Neither have I.

I think slow flowing and stagnant water looks great, but rapidly moving water looks terrible.

Skyrim has the best water any game has ever had, Oblivion now has the second best water after Skyrim, Morrowind is the 3rd best. No game could ever rival TES.You can't argue with these opinions, all other games are mediocre compared to Skyrim! :spotted owl:

You have made this statement with absolutely no sense of intelligence. You can't just decide the graphical quality of something based on how much you like the games. And Morrowind has better water than Oblivion. Seriously, I don't know how they made it worse, but they did. EDIT: Unless you were being sarcastic, in which case, I sarcastically agree.

HA! Yup. Everything's better than Crysis.

This is about graphical quality, in which case, pretty much nothing is better than Crysis. Gameplay is a seperate issue.

I swear it's flowing uphill, but in a very beautiful manner.

How is that not awesome?

*laughs* Yep...By the way, not to be mean to the fans, but in my opinion Crysis and Killzone are tied for the most over hyped games of the new era. :confused:

This. The video looks pixelated and blurry a little on the versions I downloaded and I know they aren't in HD.

You're right, it doesn't look that amazing in that video (though still pretty good), but you saw the video linked earlier, the water there looked amazing.

I've always assumed that was done on purpose? I thought it was meant to make the place feel magical and mythical with all the water flowing towards that central waterfall in the cave.

You mean the game BASED ON WATER? Yeah. That was... Amazing. But Crysis isn't that awesome, simply okay.
