Graphics Card for Skyrim?

Post » Thu Oct 06, 2011 3:52 am

Hi Lads, I'm currently building a Computer. Money is a bit tight at the moment (I'm in Ireland, so money will be tight for another while).
So for my starting graphics card I was going to get a Zotac GF GTS 450 AMP, I am planning on getting another card and bridging them both together, But I can only afford one at the moment, and I highly doubt I can get the second card before 11/11/11.
Would the Zotac GF GTS 450 AMP be able to handle Skyrim? As long as the game is playable I don't mind.
Thanks a lot Lads!

You will be able to run it, just dont expect it to run at max.

It'll run it at about medium/high settings depending on your resolution.

Depends. If you want to max it you'll preferably need a GTX not a GTS. But a 450GTS will run it fine on medium-ish settings.

I think you can get a b-grade 460 or 470 for $125 from EVGA.
