If you could add anything to skyrim what would it be?

I'd like an angry old man in royal clothing, causing random avalanches down onto Imperial troops.

Then leaving a gold coin behind to mark the graves.

Tsaesci and Kamal as playable races.

Beautiful. I'm pretty curious about the Ka'Po'Tun, though I'd suspect they're more or less reminiscent of Khajiit folk.

Is there something I would add? I'm glad you asked, since I've actually had a number of ideas regarding storylines that I'd love to implement for Skyrim. Now, just so you know, I'm pretty sure it'll be possible to have a quest wherein you build your own house. It will likely get a bit complicated if you want to construct the house in an external cell, since you might have to mod in a new version of that cell for every time that the outer part of the house changes. That's a worst case scenario, though, I think. The best way would be to have a consistent exterior, and then have all renovations happen inside the house. But here I am getting sidetracked, talking about your idea when I'm really just thinking about how to apply these speculations to my idea.

So I wanna do a big giant quest mod. I made some threads about it in the spring and the summer time, listed out quite a few details, but tried to keep the majority of it under wraps. I've been away from it for a while so that I can now come back, and do a full assessment from an outside perspective. I essentially want to tell an epic tale that traverses the realms of Oblivion, acquaints you with members of uncommon races, forces you to match wits with daedric lords and ancient sorcerers, and oh so many more things. I'm also trying to implement some solid stories of friendship and romance. The best way to describe it is that it's a story about characters, rather than about events. There are events, of course, but my focus is on the characters.

I'll try to break it down in the way that you ask the question. First, the races that I'll have to either mod myself, or wait for someone else to create textures and meshes for:
  • Falmer: I'm thinking an ancestral cousin to the more goblin Falmer that we're likely to see ingame. They'll resemble our mer races.
  • Maormer: Aldmeri descendants native to Pyandonea. They're the ancient enemy of Altmer. Think of some cross between Altmer, Dunmer, Argonian, and Slaughterfish.
  • Ka'Po'Tun: Tiger race from Akavir.
  • Xivilai: Your favorite friends from the Deadlands.
  • Seducers: As seen in Daggerfall and Battlespire, they're shapeshifting daedra.
  • Mazken: Dark Seducer, you might remember them from Dementia.
  • Aureal: Golden Saints, you met them in Bliss and in Morrowind.
  • Auroran: As seen in Knights of the Nine.

Places: I'd love to see some daedric realms, particularly Apocrypha and Moonshadow. I don't plan on making them myself, but it would be a dream come true if they could come with the original game/expansions. The planned grand centerpiece of the mod, though, would be my town, Stranded Light (name pending). It should house about 50 citizens and it will be built upon the side of a mountain (depending on how the issues I discussed earlier pan out). The town will be inspired by Falmer magic, Dwemer construction, and daedric decorative elements.

Stories: I currently have two stories in the works. They have the same starting point, and they branch from one another early on. The one that I am willing to discuss gives you the opportunity to build the town I've mentioned, and to invite various daedra to live in the town, under the protection of you and the friends that you make throughout the questlines. There's much more, of course, but nothing's certain at this point, pending future rewriting, and of course the actual details of the game.

So that's what I'm going to add.
