Did you exploit the gold glitch? Honestly?

Post » Thu Oct 06, 2011 7:21 pm

There were a few different ways on the Xbox to exploit a glitch and become very rich just an hour into the game. I won't explain the glitches, we already know of them. But how many of you truly used the glitch to benefit your main character?

Honestly, I did not. I did however with my secondary character. I used that save to just dike around when I was drinking or too tired from work to play my main character (aka save) seriously.

And, I wonder how long it'll take before a gold glitch is discovered in Skyrim as well.

(pc players, you can glitch it regardless)

I sure did, I was mad when they took it out but I recently started playing again and realized if you just sell all the armor you pick up, theres more then enough money to go around.

I did that once with one of my characters, and honestly it ruined my and I had to restart... it just gets boring when everything you want is extremely easy to get.

A few years later when they released Oblivion (I forget if it was GOTY or collector's or whatever) it was fixed. I never knew about the armor thing though? Unless you're just talking about selling armor from people you kill. But there's always a weight limit, and you don't get to sell it for what it's worth to start with.

If you mean the one where you can pick up absolutely everything that isn't nailed down and sell it, then yes i did.

If you mean the one where you can make potions as fast as you can click a button and then sell them all, then yes i did that too.

No, this thread belongs in Skyrim because it pertains to if you will use a gold glitch if there is even one.

I did that once with one of my characters, and honestly it ruined my and I had to restart... it just gets boring when everything you want is extremely easy to get.

Yep. I assumed that and that's why I didn't use it for my main character.
