Silent Casting - All spellcasting from all schools of magic is done silently
My question about this one is, i'm assuming it's a passive, correct? It'd make no sense to have to cast this all the time.
Master of the Mind - Spells work on undead, daedra and automatons.
I've never played a mage in an Elder Scrolls game so I don't know what magic doesn't hit what targets. With this perk, will my spells (destruction, specifically shock spells) be able to hit every type of enemy? I'd like to be a very strict mage who never uses any sort of melee weapon, or bow, or anything of the sort, but if I can't hit every type of enemy, i'll be a sad panda.
I would believe silent casting is passive, but I think we all have the same info so it's a guess.
If it's like oblivion you can go straight mage, however it may not be in your best interest to use only shock spells on all enemies. They have different weaknesses/strengths. I can't recall if there are any enemies that are resistant to all destruction spells, I don't believe they are. You can use spells from other schools if that happens, such as reflect, drain spells ect.
If it's like previous games it will be challenging to be strict anything, but it can be done and can make gameplay interesting.
