I've been planning on playing as a Nord for my first play-through and have been trying to work out some of the specifics of my character. I've known that I'll definitely take advantage of wielding a weapon in one hand and magic in the other (likely I'll switch between styles, i.e. weapon/shield etc.). One of the inspirations for my character has been Logan Ninefingers from Joe Abercrombie's First Law trilogy, but recently I realized that if I'm going Nord, I'm going full on Thor.

I plan on only using my fists. If anyone is weak its you, hiding behind that hammer.

One of the presets looks just like Thor, as does one of the journalist character screens from QuakeCon.

No I don't mean as Thor, just as the general archetype. My character certainly won't be named Thor and will use a combination of melee, magic and some stealth.

I'll be playing a cowardly Nord woman who shoots from afar using my bow and creeps around silently. (as I always do.) I'm no fool! A woman, even a Nord, wouldn't dream of tackling an Orc or man in close combat!
