I have Recently heard alot about Developers starting creating games for a new generation Console, im hoping this console isnt too close otherwise Bethesda possibly could have made Skyrim on the new Generation console! Nonetheless thought i'd give you guys a heads up. 11.11.11

I heard about that, someone spotted a billboard for the xbox 720 in a trailer for a film about robots or something didn't they? Now call me crazy but because robots are in the future, couldn't that film have just been making it up? adding another 360 to the xbox 360? I don't know, just what I thought, admittedly though the rest of the advertising in the trailer was all normal stuff.

Well I've heard that both Microsoft and Sony are starting to hire development staffs. But earliest would prob be Christmas 2013. Another two years without tes, you think 5 weeks is long... That being said with red ring and yellow light, I'm waiting till at least the second batch of either system comes out before I buy this time.

2015 is what I was told by a buddy of mine in California that works for Microsoft. That's the year they are aiming for a new Xbox release he heard at work. He doesn't have much to do with the actual development however, not at all really. He used to live here in Little Rock and we graduated together.

well Microsoft themselves said the kinect will renew the Xbox 360 until 2015 at least and of course there will be a new one as technology develops which basically means

also 720 wtf does that make the first xbox 360 the 180 because it doubles seriously that's pre-school assumptions

There was speculation on the hiring of personnel similar to when the Xbox 360 was being made, I think it's reasonable to assume that considering we're six years into it's life time. Also, the original xbox only lasted four years...

720 is the name for it until it's offical and a date is set. MS will let us all assume until then. And as for the first part of your post, you are dead on correct.

I hope when they do TES VI the consoles will have been out for a longer period, I don't like my TES to be a "launch" game I want it to use all the power of a hardware with good optimization.

Don't worry; Bethesda's first game on the new generation will most likely be FO4.

720 is fan made speculation so its not the name as when the first hack on Microsoft they saw a concept about a new xbox and it was called Evolution as it was a circle but that was 2005 so its just concepts ideas and speculation and of course ms will let us assume they wouldn't say "Our new xbox 360 which is hush hush isn't called 720 but since we cant tell you were not gonna say what the name" so microsoft letting you assume that is their way of saying its hush hush

Hmm... if it does come in the next few years just re-release Skyrim with all DLC and with current maxed out graphic PC-like settings.

To be perfectly honest an "Xbox 720" sounds more like it was a joke, given its a semi-futuristic(i think?) movie it makes sense.

That's good news to me. I'll probably be interning in 2013 and won't be able to afford green goodness or milk. Not to mention a new system.

I sure hope the next game is another Elder Scrolls, we've had too many new fallouts and expansions this gen, getting kind of sick of them at this point.
