Conjuration for Warriors or Archers.

So I was looking at that sweet picture where there's like a blue conjured bow and if I wanted to make a ranged character, I would definitely want that bow, but as an archer would it be wise to sacrifice some marksman perks and putting them into conjuration? Also what about magicka attribute? An archer doesn't usually put points in magicka. Discuss.

I'm almost 100% sure that it'll work out just the way Oblivion did, meaning that while you COULD specialize in certain skills and focus more "bonus" points on them, you could still level up any and all skills regardless, just at a slower rate.

My first character is almost always a Marksman conjurer, my monsters go in and I pick off enemies from far away

I don't think that there's anything even remotely wrong with it.

1.) The entire appeal of Elder Scrolls (at least for me) is the ability to create your own character and your own class with any combination of skills you desire. So if you want to mix and match magic and archery, go for it.

2.) Magic and archery IS in fact a viable option, in fact that was a common playstyle in Oblivion (from what I hear), summoning your creatures to essentially "tank" while you pick off your enemies from a distance.

3.) You should be able to get enough perks that you could max out 3, maybe for skills, so if you want to focus on Conjuration and Marksman, there's no reason why you should have to sacrifice perks from one to perk in another.

4.) You probably won't even need a perk to get Bound Bow, if that's all you really want from Conjuration, just raise the skill high enough to cast your Bound Bow spell and have at it.

As far as your attributes go, just put in the points when needed. I would probably focus on putting points in Stamina, but how much magic do you plan on using? If all you're really gonna cast is Bound Bow, then you probably don't need a lot of magicka. If you're gonna be doing other stuff as well, then mix it up. Alternate between Stamina and Magicka every level. Or, put it in Magicka when you feel you need a boost to your pool, and put it in Stamina when you feel you need a boost to your fatigue.
