Diamonds Are Forever : V

Will we be able to mine things like diamonds and rubies in Skyrim? Since Bethesda took the time to include iron veins in the walls of caves, maybe they added caves with gemstone deposits. Crafting with them would be sweet as well, if only for aesthetic changes.

Do you guys want to mine gemstones too? Discuss!

Maybe there will be a random chance of acquiring one when mining any other ore.

I'd like to be able to set them in armor or make them into jewelry but that's probably dreaming too big.

^ Yeah that would be cool but I also don't think they would let us do that.

They should be in the game and should be sold for a lot but other than selling I don't think they will have much purpose.

It would make sense. I knew that there were in fact diamond deposits in certain caves in Morrowind so I think it's possible for them to make a return.
