I'm sure this has been asked before (couldn't find a related topic tho) , but will this happen? Npcs talking about morrowind's and oblivion's events etc..

Not asking for some detailed stuff . One simple solution would be to put your previous character's name before the game begins. That way all the dialogues could be pre-generated , with only your character's name needed . dunno , just asking .

I agree, Will we hear any lore of what became of the Nerevarine? Since Skyrim takes place long after the events of Oblivion. Or maybe read a book or two talking about the events of oblivion gate crisis. Or of the blight and death of Dagoth Ur.

They will be referred to as The Champion of Cyrodill and The Nerevarine and mostly in books I assume.

that would be a nice alternative . Actually , it might be even better (with your character's name of course).

Nice , but why can't they just put your character's name in them? a simple script , like they do on most quest letters , where you actually see your name.

There might be mentions in books or overhearing other people talking about it, but I they won't play a big role at all.

doesn't the story line have something to do with the previous Septims? like you are dragon born like they are which is why you get rescued by the last living blade (according to leaks in the story line). The acts of the old hero and of martin have allot to do with the story as it affected the whole empire.


I don't know an awful lot about the lore though

pretty sure the oblivion crisis and the champion of cyrodil might get a mention. nerevar and the events of elder scrolls 3? maybe who knows. just dont expect anyone to refer to either one as a he or a she.

Since the champion of cyrodil became sheogorath he or she might be heard of again. The Nerevarine on the other hand ends with a huge cliff hanger. "Oh yeah he or she went to akavir....."

And "neither age or disease can touch him"

It would have actually been pretty cool to hear that Morrowind was doing better than most other provinces because of the Nerverine while playing Oblivion IMO.

No, they won't.

I think it would be referenced in a few books about 'The Champion of Cyrodil' but nothing else.

Skyrim is the home of the nords so i doubt they would know much about morrowind happenings. Especially along time ago. Maybe theyre saving this for later. Like tes 6 Akavir. (??) With direct reference to the actions and events triggered by the Nerevarine. If youre like me youre thirsty for some kind of closure for that character
