Landscape holes......

Well, was wondering why I would get a consistent crash approaching fort homestead from the south..... discovered there are some major landscape issue there, and it confuses some of the NPC's roaming about. (they were swimming thru the air up to me, to attack... that was just odd.....) I managed to approach from the east, just on the coast there. Looking across the water, I could see the major gaps in landscape. I don't think I have any mods that actually DO anything with landscape there though..... (and it wasn't LOD, I was right there..... the real land should have been loaded.....)

Your best bet is probably to determine the what cell the issue is in (or as close as you can get), load up all your mods in TES4Edit, and look up that cell for other mods that may be conflicting.

Sounds like an instance of the infamous missing landscape bug. One possible cause is that an object that loads in the missing cell has rolled out into another nearby cell. Usually goes away if you save and reload while standing near it. If this is the case, that will confirm it. If you can then determine which cell does it, it might be possible to try and address it via the UOP.
