Hello my fellow Skyrimmers,

This post isn't about anything important, really. Just something I noticed while looking at all the http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/08/24/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-character-screenshots-show-every-race/... Everyone looks like they've just had the worst day of their life with the exception of a few High Elves and all of the Kahjiit. The four High Elves(the first two guys in the first and second rows) have a smirk on their face like they just cut a massive fart. And all of the Kahjiit look.... Happy as can be. Like they couldn't wait to have their picture taken. Or that they're all on cat nip and are hallucinating that they're chasing a rat.

This will be my strangest post yet.

The presets also look quite the same (females) while you can change them yourself a lot, presets are quite ugly to say so

Meh, I like the majority of them.

But go into character creation in Oblivion and press 'random' a few times, that's even creepier.

I think it makes the dunmer look evil. Kind of like in morrowind.

You're saying only the presets look good?

I'm saying they don't look bad.

Maybe because that's the face you start with when entering the game in handcuffs in a dank jail cell...Or where ever you start with hand cuffs on.

Agreed. And with no background and plainness of the image the presets do look a bit odd. The screenshots of people in the world looked nice or well enough and not strange as the preset pics. And finally unlike Oblivion small facial details are back than the odd 3D models.

I completely agree with you. All the females look the same, but I read some where that the presets are supposed to look unhappy, rugged and "badass".

They also mentioned that some NPC's who should look noble or of high class will not look like this. Meaning that you can most likely make your character look more regal if you desire

It would make no sense for them t all to be super happy. It's skyrim. Dragons are invading. [censored] got serious.


Plus, you didn't mention the fact that Argonians don't look like they have almost no facial muscles whatsoever and that they just look like they're thinking about a psychotic explosion of violence to the camera.

Hmmmm... those Khajiits are too happy...
