I am ridiculously excited for this game, I absolutely LOVE the Elder Scrolls Series, but from what I've seen in the videos and from the way they've explained the control system it doesn't seem like there's a way to block or parry with just a sword, does anyone know anything about this? I've never been one for shields and I'm worried they might just leave that out D:

Parrying with just one sword (no shield) is in. Blocking with a sword is unknown. But if we can still block arrows with just a sword, I will be very disappointed.

You can block with a 2-handed anything.

You can block with a 1-handed anything in right hand and nothing in the other.

You can not block with a sword in left hand and nothing in the right. You will punch with the right instead.

You can block with torches in any hand.

i believe you can parry but not block
