I'm kind of nervous about the dragons. what if i spend a lot of time helping a town like Riverwood thrive, then a dragon or dragons come and destroy my hard work? or if the very first dragon i encounter has a friend and they destroy me sense they're roaming boss fights. i don't mean to sound scared. it's just like, what if i'm trying to do something but keep getting attacked or killed by dragons, because Todd Howard keeps making it sound like it's really common to get attacked.

don't advance the MQ line then... i'm pretty sure it will be like oblivion, you have to advance the plot before the gates pop up everywhere and [censored] starts going down.

Well as far as we know, there is only one town that is destroyed by a dragon, won't tell you which one though :wink_smile:
But It's not Riverwood, and anyways Beth is not big on destructible environments so most of the towns and cities will stay fairly intact

-Hands you an bow and arrows, then hands you an axe.. 3...2...1... FIGHT!

It will make it that more satisfying when I slay the beast! At least for me .


I'm sure they didn't overdo encounters, they have probably put a lot of time into balancing everything relating to dragons.

Well this was more of a joke topic than anything else. i'm excited about destroying dragons. i just don't want it to happen every 10 mins.

apart from scripted main quest stuff according to todd dragons will almost never attack towns and villages and i don't think they will be destroying much.
