Hey I was wondering about something they didnt have in Oblivion, is it possible to be an unarmed fighter but still have a shield so you can use shield bash on dudes and act like some nordic Captain America? Because I found it kind of strange in Oblivion you had to have a weapon to be able to wield a shield. I don't plan on doing such a build anytime soon but wouldn't be hilarious to run at a dragon with only a fist and a shield :tongue: ?

Don't hold me to this, but I think there are shield-related perks that allow for not only shield bashing, but knocking your opponents over with a shield bash. It's been a while since I read the perks, but if you do some searching, you can probably find them.

As for unarmed-and-shield combo, it's likely possible; they're giving us more freedom with what goes in each hand in Skyrim so I don't see why this wouldn't be doable. No idea if it'll be a good combo, though. And besides, Captain America used a gun when necessary, so maybe you'll want to use a spell in your free hand for when enemies are farther away. :biggrin:

Personally, I'm going for the hammer-and-lightning combo of a Thor build...
