Yes. DB then the College of Winterhold. The others will wait until after I complete the MQ.

Probably not. It will probably be my first faction, but I'm not going completely out of my way to join the Dark Brotherhood. Become a normal citizen earning cash by working menial jobs and raiding bandit lairs, then probably a decent amount of Main Quest (or all if it can truly catch my undivided attention).

I was going to find guardian stones first then join the DB.

the dark brotherhood is nothing but a bunch of cultists who worship the ghost of some crazy lady who lives under a statue hopefully they add in some other assassin guild otherwise its freelance work for me.

All this Assassin hype makes methink that you should go play Assassins Creed instead.

I made an assassin/freelance agent just to try the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion as well as other miscellaneous quests and content. I didn't enjoy it much. The whole personality of the Dark Brotherhood is rather boorish. I take no pleasure in offending or harming others, and the Dark Brotherhood view assassinations way too sadistically.
