Alchemy, ingredients jave hidden effects.

(sorry for that title cant change that, i mean't "have")

well so we dont know what the plants do until we test them?

this is the perk that confirms it.

2 effects of an ingredient are revealed when testing instead of 1.

it will require alot of testing to reveal them all.

Sounds interesting, and more realistic. If your just starting out you certainly won't know what anything does, you gatta learn as you go lol

I like it.

Pretty sure that UESP will have the hidden effects for me a few weeks after release, so I don't have to bother testing each and every combination.

Chances are, like Oblivion, that the hidden effects will have no impact on potions/poisons made until that perk is selected. (similar to advancing alchemy skill in Oblivion).

Would be cool though if potions had side effects which didn't make sense 'til later.
