will it be possible to kill a dragon while it is flying? like with a bow or shout?

or will they always land on the ground when they are low on health and you will have to kill them then?

They always land after a specific fraction of their health is taken out so no mid-air fatalities, unfortunately.

Their behavior is determined by their AI, not their health.

In this case their AI is dictated by how much damage they take. Todd even said dragons ground themselves when weakened.

Well, like the poster before me said, dragons crash epicly most, if not all, of the time. It's just not instant death.

your not factoring in the possibility of a dragon being killed in one hit, perhaps the result of a mod? what then! haha, prolly just land and instant die.
