Any News if Jyggalag Will Appear In Skyrim?

Post » Sun Oct 09, 2011 1:46 pm

I don't know if any of the developers browse the forum, but if you're reading this, please don't ignore our favorite Daedric Prince. I heard there will only be 15 Daedric Artifacts, I'm afraid Jyggalag will be one of the Daedra to be neglected. Even worse, he may not appear in the game at all!

Goddamnit!

Why? His story was done as far as I'm concerned. If our psuedo-Madgod PC is dead, it's passed off to someone else meaning the cycle of Order is probably still thousands of years away.

But I don't know the lore, so.

Jyggalag was released from his curse at the end of SI. What he's done in the past 200 years is anyone's guess. Which is why I feel this loose end should be tied up in Skyrim.

I could see jyggalag being a possible prince, but sheogorath is likely in it. what kind of artifact would sheo offer us in this one? wabbajack? spear of bitter mercy? gambolpuddy? staff of everscamp? the fork of horipalation?

Not sure. Personally, out of all the princes, he and Azura were the only ones I didn't have major conflicts of interest with. While I'd be fine with him wreaking havoc on the rest of the daedra, I'd have a feeling he'd eventually turn his sights onto the mortal realm, which could get pretty nasty.

Ya he was released form his curse which means he is a full fledged god now. He should be in the game. Sharogoth well be gone though.

I'm not sure. I figure there is always the chance he got cursed back into Sheogorath. I mean if they did it once, why can't they do it again?

I remember hearing from someone here saying Sheo was confirmed to be in it. It's a really dumb idea for Bethesda to write out the most entertaining Daedric Prince for a boring one (Prince of Order? Please). I'm fine with Jyggalag being in the game, but not if it means no Sheo.

Also, there's an achievement for "Collect 15 Daedric Artifacts." That in no way confirms "there's only 15 Daedric Princes."

With Dagon sealed up forever they won't be able to.

The missing Daedric Prince is Mehrunes Dagon for obvious reasons

Sheogorath will be in, if you ask me

Because that would be a huge cop out and a slap in the face for the fans?

I'd rather see Sanguine.

How would they portray the CoC, i say they put em in a set of madness armor. :toughninja:

But seriously if there are only 15 then the one most like not to be in would be the prince of madness :sadvaultboy:

I really disliked the whole Shivering isles world, the giant mushrooms, the goofy looking villages. None of it was grounded in reality like Tamriel was. I couldn't relate to it. Skyrim feels very realistic and believable, a place where I can feel like it's real, not some acid trip like Shivering Isles was. I hope they didn't waste any development hours on him other than maybe a quick deadric quest or something.

I know I'm a huge really devoted fan, but I can't be the only one to think that the Shivering Isles was a work of genius. Jyggalag and Sheogorath remind me of Urizen and Orc from America a Prophecy by William Blake, that's why I'm enamored by them.

If your reading this and you have any information on whether the conflict between the Daedric Princes and Jyggalag will be acknowledged in Skyrim please say something.
