Okay so we all know that the currency of all of Tamriel is the Septim. Given its name because of the bust of Tiber Septim (Talos), and it also has the symbol of Akatosh on the underside.
As we all know, the worshipping of Talos is banned, so why do they still use that coin then?
And Aluidin is believed to be the nordic variation of Akatosh and he's kind of ruining all of Skyrim.

Oh the irony. :poke:
From what we know so far they're called gold and since its a new dynasty it will probably be named after their last/family name
Cash is cash, and that head on it guarantees the weight and purity, so who gives a damn whose head it actually is?
Cash is cash, but it doesn't make a whole lotta' sense that after over a century of condemning Talos, the new Empire wouldn't see fit to mint some new coins.

The Empire might very well mint new coins, but would the other provinces care? Would you want to go around all of Skyrim collecting all the old coins to melt them down and re-cast them?
