Farming in Skyrim?

Here, it says that the game guide has detailed information on farming.
I remember Todd saying that you can do everything you see the NPCs doing. Have anyone seen any confirmation of this?
Do you think this will be just being able to do an animation, as when you're working at the mill, or will you be able to actually grow stuff? I'm hoping for the latter, since it has a place in the game guide.

I'm hoping you can farm and plant and do all sorts of stuff. This will really help the roleplayers out that want to "live off the land". I'm sure farming will tie into Alchemy to some extent, so it should be somewhat complex IMO.

Yeah I think farming will be part of the working economy they keep talkin about. People will probably grow crops then harvest them. Atleast I hope so.

Pretty sure you can do farming, to what extent, I don't know. I imagine there'd be buying a farm at least and planting seeds at most

Baha - imagine trying to keep a low profile as an assassin.

Crop Surveyor: So uh... what's all that out back?

You: Oh nothing. Just a personal vegetable garden.

Surveyor: That's... that's not nightshade, is it?!

You: No, definitely not. Most certainly isn't, you must be confused.

Surveyor:

Lol, that reminds me of the end of a movie I saw once called the Secret Window, killing people and planting corn over them :P

I think it should be growing stuff. If its just an animation, oblivion mods can do that too lol.

on a side note: i think skyrim is somewhat becoming like runescape, LOL what with all the mining and cooking and smithing :)

Game time would be best, its pretty fast, you can blast through a season in no time.
