When I launch the game the game isn’t full screen it appears in with a black box that goes around the perimeter of my monitor.


My Resolution is set to the native 1920x1080 and my other games and applications run perfectly fine on it. On my old PC I was using the same TV/Monitor and graphics card brand which is ATI but it had Windows XP and Crysis and all the other applications worked perfectly fine same resolution 1920x1080 but as soon as I get a new PC and it has Windows 7 on it now I have this stupid letterbox problem please help. Yes I have Already tried the obvious full screen option and alt enter still comes out as a letterbox and no matter what resolution I set it to including my native 1920x1080 it’s still the same and I have changed it run in 64-bit still no fix. So please help I’ve been searching for an answer on so many forums. I will show my old and present PC's specs below.

My PC Specs at the moment (Crysis 1 has a letterbox problem on this PC):

Intel Core I7-870 2.93GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB
8GB Ram DDR3
22 Inch TV/Monitor Full HD 1080p
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

My old PC Specs (Crysis 1 doesn’t have letterbox problem on this PC ):

Intel Core Quad Q8200 2.33GHz
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB
2GB Ram DDR2
22 Inch TV/Monitor Full HD 1080p
Windows XP Professional 32-Bit

Have you tried any other resolutions?
