Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw in the Demo (Part 2) ?

Post » Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:32 pm

In Part 2 of the Skyrim Demo (Im watching on my X360 btw) if you look in the bottom left of the screen at 3:36, then I think that looks like (fairly sure that it isnt it, but it looks fairly like it in shape) the helm of Oreyn Bearclaw (from the 2 previous TES titles). I am aware it likely isnt it, but I just think t looks an awful lot like it.

I would link you to the video for convenience, but whenever I try to load a Youtube Video, my browser freezes as one of my plug-ins is buggered.

Also, feel free to discuss opinions on the dungeon, combat, lighting etc that is available, at least in this part of the demo. :P

It is a frost troll's skull.

When I first noticed it I thought it was neat, I'm hoping that they put little subtle hints like that on what inhabits certain parts of the cave, since there was another frost troll ahead.

Oh, well thanks for the update, I too like these things, it just adds to the atmosphere and brutality, and I guess you can consider it as a bit of eye-candy too.

Well Morrowind fan's are sure welcoming a few changed to atmosphere. Just home we see a little more hint at Solthseim or Bloodmoon area in SKYRIM. A lot of us really like Bloodmoon and seeing it come to life in such a way is really magickal!

I liked the grimy feel of Morrowind too, it felt as though since the cities were so... "simple", it felt like more of a home, and less of a magical realm of perfection, made fitting in feel worth it, and that I was really fighting for something, plus, dark stories will ALWAYS dominate.
