Protip: The New Vegas DLC were developed by Obsidian. Skyrim is being developed by Bethesda.

Also, a lot of people do care about Skyrim.

The game studio Bethesda, and the publishing studio Bethesda, are two separate entities. Neither of them made Fallout:NV. Bethesda Game Studio's decision to work on Skyrim does not effect Bethesda publishing in any way concerning DLC for FONV.

I edited my post with more, look at that.

Skyrim has absolutely no influence on the continuation of DLC for FONV. DLC for FONV is being stopped due to the team at Obsidian having to move on to new, more profitable projects.

EDIT: Forgot to add in the "no". Kinda big mistake on my part.

The launch of Skyrim is Bethesda's chance to blow the next Fallout into fame. FNV, as we may already know, is definitely not as popular as FO3. But with Skyrim, it being a big release from Bethesda, using a new engine and other such things, this could open a whole new world for the next Fallout because people will be keeping tabs from the release of Skyrim -- on Bethesda's next works. So, with that said, Bethesda should be getting into a better mindset on how to do the next Fallout because Skyrim fans will be expecting something mind blowing from the developers of their favorite game.

I know it doesn't make sense, why would fans of Skyrim give a crap about Fallout? Well, those who do will be putting pressure on Bethesda to come out with things just as good if not better than Skyrim. So, let's not put down Skyrim here just because it's taking the limelight for a while. The next Fallout will be the star soon enough. :celebration:

I don't give a damn about the DLCs right now. All I want is to play this game and finish it already, but I can't because the patch broke it. FNV is probably the only game my console refuses to play right now. Fudge...
