Hello to all!

First I should mention that I have not played any of the Elder Scrolls games.

I am thinking of purchasing ESV:Skyrim, but was wondering if it is worth playing through the previous games?

I can get 'The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition' with two expansion packs.

Also I believe ESV:Skyrim has both first and third person views.

So I ask do the previous games have first-person view as well??

Other than Redguard and Oblivion Mobile, I'm pretty sure all of the TES Series are first Person. Although Daggerfall and Arena are both First person only, Not sure about Battlespire. Redguard is Third Only.
