We can has system requirements?

Well, I don't know why it isn't showing up for me. I scoured everything from his last post on the 6th, right until his first post on the 8th (and copy/pasted it here). Didn't see it. That's all I'm saying.

And this has to be the first time I've seen people get so butthurt over someone saying "link plz". It's crazy.

Maybe it's because you say stuff like this:

Well, it's not on his Twitter.

Burden Of Proof, mate.

Yeah, no.

Either way, I think you might not be clicking on his actual DCDeacon name and might be just viewing it over what shows up on your own twitter page.

This is the one thing that's holding me back from pre-ordering. We've got about a month until release, which is about as long as Bethesda waited to release the system requirements for RAGE, so who here wants the devs to send some love our way and post the system requirements?

And yes, I know there's a thread where people can post assumptions about whether I can or can't run the game, but these people don't know for sure, so don't bother.

So, Bethesda! Can you please post the system requirements? I have cupcakes!

Just buy the most expensive specs you can! Just to be on the safe side!!

That's a horrible idea, though I suspect you weren't serious. When you get into the high end you're paying for stuff that will have products at 1/3 the price at the same power in a couple years. For graphics cards especially unless you have money to blow you should not be spending more than $100-200, $250 max, in the USA at least (this is after sales/rebates, unless you have money to spare you should not buy a GPU unless there is a deal, because there are often great deals). I know things cost even more elsewhere, making top of the line even less cost efficient.

I weren't. Did the mistake buying a really expensive graphiccard i thought my computer could handle. It did, for a couple of days.

"We can has system requirements?"

I really don't understand why people purposely use wrong grammar. It is becoming really annoying.

They literally think it's cute. Sometimes grown men think it's cute to say, "I can has cheezburger." I know, it's crazy.

It shouldn't have hurt your computer. I hope you contacted support about it.

I made the same mistake though, spent like $400 on a PNY card back in 2004. It lasted about 2.5 years and then they wouldn't honor the warranty "because they didn't make it anymore." Buying that thing was like burning money. Now $40 cards are as powerful as that thing was.

I did, but they didn't reply any of my emails or calls. Found out later that they went bankrupt and that a lot of people had the same problem. I got my lesson. Never buy computerstuff at a privateown shop. Stupid kid I was.

I say wait for the system requirements before you upgrade your PC. No point buying ultra-expensive stuff..... Unless you still have a Pentium 4 or single-core Athlon. Those things are definately obsolete for gaming.

That's what I'm doing. Kind of frustrating to wait though. Hopefully they'll let us know as soon as they've nailed it down. It seems kind of late in the game to not know though. Maybe Steam only isn't working out and they let use know that. That would be worth waiting for.

Makes me glad I'm getting it first on Xbox. (And before the PC ranting begins notice I said "first", I plan to get on PC as well after a few months and I am sure it will run on my setup. I already have one guy on this forum trying to convince me his opinion is automatically right.) :flamethrower:

Hey, it's not my fault you're a hateful misanthrope who doesn't find lolcats funny. :)

I'd link to a Picard Facepalm, but that might be going too far.

Problem solved.

Already have a PS3, but I can't mod on it. Also, PS3 tends to get shafted by Bethesda.

So, it's kind of my backup plan.
