Mention of Seht.

...the Hurling Disk, it is conjectured, contains a strange mingling of magic from both the Solar and Lunar spheres. That singular rarity, coupled with the rarity of its presence within the world, has kept it from gaining a strong foothold in the schools of known sorcery. The Selectives claim a similar source of power in their depictions of the Right Reaching, but that has not deterred those magicians which still try to fathom the meaning of the middle dawn and what benefits they may derive from that understanding. Perhaps it is the association of Mnemoli with the vanishing of sequential sensation (and, by extension, the teeth-filled stare of the Alinor Dragon that comes thereafter) that drives seekers of arcane knowledge to pledge their scholarship to the Aetherius rather than dealing with the esoteric teachings of my murder-brother SEHT or her many aspects, who loves the secret tower so much that she trucks with folk that first gave it legs, head, and sixual recepticle...

To whom is this female reference guided? A companion of mine suggested it is referring to the 'esoteric teachings'.

Sotha's anticipation, Azura seems a dull answer and my heart does not welcome that.

Seth is the name of the Daedric letter S, short for Sotha Sil.

After or it's about Ayem, Almelexia.

"Her" is referencing Seht. It can't be referencing Ayem, since her is a pronoun, and Ayem is never mentioned in the passage. Moreover, her is a singular pronoun (as opposed to "them" which is plural"), and Seht is the only singular entity mentioned in the passage. It's about Seht.

And of course Vehk is the "magic hermaphrodite."

This is less a clarification, than a request for clarification: the whole magical hermaphrodite thing works the same as it did in Dune, right? It's like... to be a god, you have to be more than human. To be more than human, you have to first be a whole human. Humanity is divided between male and female, so a whole human has to unite these two halves and be both male and female. Ze has to have full access to the feminine and masculine powers of mankind, right? That's what the whole hermaphroditic Vekh is all about, right? He's not just a perv*?

No offense meant to any intersixed fellows out there, but Vekh is sorta a different deal than y'all, and, well, he is canonically a huge perv

I've never read Dune, so I can't speak about that.

As far as Vehk being the "magical hermaphrodite," notice that male-female is a duality.
