Multiple wives?

Well multiple wives would be a handful... but I would give it a shot with one of my characters for sure

Could you Mod a hard-core, inter-racial mega-gang roast? That would be awesome

I hope so, there's a lot of religions that support the idea like Mormon or Islam, I can't see Bethesda going against those, especially for a game that's going to be sold world wide.

90% of the mormon religion has written out polygamy just saying thats not a viable example besides the other 10% was leading to incist so it was shut down however islam is a good example :D

Well, because mods solve pretty much all problems.... unless of course you're getting the console version.

Who does that anyway lol?

I'm pretty sure some of you [censored] perverts will create orgy mods where you get to make out with 9 wives at the same time. And some of you sick [censored]s will use it.

Make out?? are you 12? :shakehead:

With 9 wives making out is all you would have stamina for

Your fatigue bar would be in the negatives

... actually, that raises a pretty good question, but I'm hesitant to ask the Lore Forums about possible uses of Restoration for boosting sixual performance.

My advice, OP: If you don't want to be committed to one woman, don't get married.

Thats such a Western view on marriage. Polygamy was practiced in so many parts of the world and it wasnt that bad... in fact my professor had a father that practiced polygyny

Well if you live in a western culture you will probably share a western view, right? Thats like someone saying to the OP "Thats such an Islamic view on marriage." :shakehead:

Christian here. Polygamy is an abomination, even simulated polygamy.

I'm a Christian too ..... but I'm pretty sure almost every biblical hero of the Old Testament had multiple wives .... heck, Soloman had like 800 of them. Show me a passage from the Bible that says polygamy is an abomination.

Check out the New Testament.

Anyway, this is off-topic.

I am assuming the supporters of polygamy wouldn't mind, in the slightest, if they had to share their wife with three other husbands. Or is that not quite so much fun?

Lol. I in no way support polygamy .... I'm just pointing out that the Bible does not call it an abomination. People must be careful what words they attribute to God or else all Christians get a bad rep because the uninformed believe it.

I wouldn't see why not, if your going to break one taboo why not break them all? TES is about choices. No one forces people to stay loyal to just one person in life, although religion, culture, or a personal sense of loyalty plays a big part in our ethical conduct. Why shouldn't it be the same in Skyrim? No one would force the player to cheat, but there is nothing apart from the player's own understanding to prevent herself from doing it either.

Or multiple husbands ;) could be like a stat in game, they could call it your 'Bigamy Level'

It doesn't work that way for women. :P

What does real life religion have to do with fantasy made up lore in a fantasy game?

You should listen to this man. He's so wise they named a lake after him in Skyrim!

LOL for some reason that just made me think of that Dos Equis guy, The Most Interesting Man in the World.

Imagine an ad for Surilie Brothers Wine in Skyrim done by The Most Dangerous Man in Skyrim.

When he shouts, dragons appear.
He once ate a poisoned apple, just to see what it felt like.
If he punches you in the face during a tavern brawl, you will have to resist the sudden urge to thank him.
He is...The Most Dangerous Man in Skyrim!

"I don't always drink wine, but when I do, I prefer...Surilie Brothers. Stay thirsty, my friends!"
