Firearms in Skyrim

Would look strange having guns alongside weapons like axes and maces. it would end up a makeshift combo of medieval and modern warfare.

Hmm, should I shoot this bandit with a rifle with incredibly low accuracy and long reload time or shoot him with the fire I can spew from my fingertips? In any case, in TES, anyone can learn magic, and in almost all cases, the magic available is better than any gun.

I simply just don't want guns in TES, no argument about it not being right or how it ruined what game etc, i just don't want them, i enjoy playing a game that doesn't have guns for once.

Didn't read all the pages way to lazy but Id have to say no, I enjoy the more dark ages feel of it and far to many rpg/fantasy games have guns in them now that it seems they are trying to mainstream into fps territory.

That can't be close to being true, otherwise there would be no weapons in the series.

Ok before you hardcoe fans freak out, I'm not talking about having something like a G36 or AK-47. I think an old kind of Flintlock long barrel rifle and or pistol wouldn't seem so out of place in TES.

We've all seen what happened to the Fable series...let's not repeat that, shall we?
