Alchemy - Trial and Error

There are portable alchemy apparatus in Skyrim?

From what we have heard, Skyrim will have fixed workstations. On the net, there is a screen showing an alchemical workstation.

I believe it is not proper to link it.

In various threads, some people have expressed an interest in at least having a portable mortar and pestle.

Others feel that planning ahead and cooking will take care of some alchemical needs while "on the trail."

My point was that the equipment will have an influence on alchemical processing, and there has not been a lot of discussion about the apparatus.

My characters, especially Sibyl, my v?lva-type shaman-in-training, are looking forward alchemy in Skyrim.

Sibyl started learning herbalism as a child. Those of you who have read my posts know that Sibyl will use Alchemy as her governing skill.

At the risk of over simplifying a great new system I cant help but think of it like when you see a really young kid that just picks random stuff up and it goes straight in their mouth  That's going be me in Skyrim!

"How about mixing up some potions? You look like quite the Alchemist."
I make a great living in Cyrodiil as an Alchemist. I can spend hours exploring and collecting ingredients. I was quite disappointed in Morrowind when a potion failed, but equally as thrilled when it succeeded. I imagine it will be just as much fun in Skryim.

As long as you say out loud, "what could possibly go wrong?" you will be fine.

I really like this feature.

All 4 effects of every ingredient will be in the strat guide and UESP.

One will have to avoid the internet for some time to avoid learning what does what the easy way.
