My "sickness"

Post » Thu Oct 13, 2011 10:56 pm

Does anyone know if I am going to be able to collect Draugr or Giant weapons? I am a collector so it is kind of my job to ask this, I always collect every thing I can and store it away even if I never will use it. I even kept all the poor quality items in the sewer from Oblivion (rusty items and such) but I have started to ramble. Does anyone know, or thinks I can indulge in my addiction.

You mean in game, or collecting realistic replicas from prop stores?

Sounds highly unlikely to me.

Draugr weapons, I'd say almost definitely. As for Giant weapons, no, I'd say almost assuredly not.
That's just my take though, I don't think the Draugr will have "Special" weapons for them only, but the giants, most definitely.

Don;t worry frenzied Pawn Star, I'm sure there will be plenty of things to put in your odd collection.

I know someones gonna [censored] at me for saying this. But you'll probably have to mod in Giant weapon replica's, as for Draugr you might get a weapon drop.

Don't Draugr just use regular weapons? Don't know about giant weapons, though they'd definately be 2 handed weapons.

If you did have, I would say they would be very heavy in weight, and not usable.

would it be neat to get a giant dagger and have to wield it with both hands?

I kinda know what you mean, I have a driving need to collect at least one of each weapon and armor piece, sometimes two if I want to keep a display set at home where it won't get damaged in battles (though I guess I don't need to worry about that anymore). Still I think I have to agree with the others here, unfortunately, that Giant weapons will almost certainly not be items you can collect as it just wouldn't be practical to hold something like that in your inventory. The only possibility is if after a Giant is defeated, he might drop his weapon on the ground and you could maybe drag it somewhere, but that's useless for collecting anyway because it would probably disappear after a while

I'm sure those giant thigh-bones will count as warhammers. If not then they should.

I to have a desire to collect every armor set and every kind of weapon. In fact I made a check list in a spreadsheet so I could know what I have already while out in the world in Oblivion. That's just on my main character though. I don't care about collecting with other characters I make.
