Just purchased retail copy of New Vegas : Fallout: New Vegas

Hey everyone.

I just got a retail copy of New Vegas for the PC and I was wondering how to go about installing the DLC packs? For my first play through I'd like to have all the DLC's installed so I can experience everything, is that possible? Also, would the steam versions work with my copy? Thanks

Yes, the DLC will work if purchased offf Steam mostly because the game itself uses Steam regardless of it being retail.

I have one more question. Will having all the DLC's installed become annoying? What I mean is do they integrate into the games story very well? Because I don't want to have several DLC missions just start popping up at the start of the game. Will I simply come across these at different levels and parts of the MQ?
